Dr. Prisca Simbanegavi
Dr. Prisca Simbanegavi is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Construction Economics and Management at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. She holds a PhD in Real Estate and specializes in urban sustainability, smart cities, and residential real estate investment. Her research explores housing markets, sustainable infrastructure, and digital innovations such as blockchain, IoT, and AI in transforming urban services. She also examines real estate finance, ESG investments, and climate justice in African cities. Her work aligns with SDGs 3, 9, and 11, advancing inclusive, resilient, and sustainable urban transitions through research, teaching, and interdisciplinary collaborations.
